Thanks to some kindly teachers, I had not one, but two printed dome homes to present for my compsci project!! The first (blue) guy only took about 15 minutes, I do not know about the second. It was amazing to watch the house being printed, since, like the MakerBot, I will be doing it layer by layer. (Although nowhere near as efficiently, even when the machines are half-broken, and hopefully I won't have to hack at railing supports with a beefed-up boxcutter)
In other news, I just realized I singed my hair while trying to make a dinner burrito:( There is a reason I have burritos every night, and it because they require very little stove-action. See what happens when I approach a frying pan? Nevertheless, I whole-heartedly intend to make artisanal bread and goat cheese in this dome home, singed hair be damned!!!!
